I enjoy your writing!! Most interesting about having the ability to milk by machine and choosing to milk by hand. After our sour milk school in June, I continued milking Trudee by hand. Pip and her ducks help me in the morning, and I enjoy watching the sunrise with my head resting on Trudee while we do the morning milking meditation routine. I will keep my milk machine so someone can milk for me while I am gone, but reclaiming a link to a simpler time has empowered me to enjoy every moment of my cheese making process. Washing my milk machine was the worst part, and now that you write about the noise, I realize I don't miss it one bit. Thanks for sharing your perspective!! Keep being authentically you, that certainly is more than enough.
keep going - i like it a lot! you definitely got me at “myselves” 😊 i am a person who hand-milks and scythe-cuts and lives with unicorns 🫏 = 🦄
I am enjoying this ”stream of consciousness” writing very much. It has a peaceful and calming quality. Looking forward to the rest of the story.
Yesss, keep chanting. It’s the voice of Walt Whitman on microbes! Love it.
I really love your writing, this piece is beautiful. I’m looking forward to more.
Excellent writing Trevor! Thanks for allowing us to participate in your dairy Odyssey!
I loved this post, more please!
