I am enjoying this ”stream of consciousness” writing very much. It has a peaceful and calming quality. Looking forward to the rest of the story.

I enjoy your writing!! Most interesting about having the ability to milk by machine and choosing to milk by hand. After our sour milk school in June, I continued milking Trudee by hand. Pip and her ducks help me in the morning, and I enjoy watching the sunrise with my head resting on Trudee while we do the morning milking meditation routine. I will keep my milk machine so someone can milk for me while I am gone, but reclaiming a link to a simpler time has empowered me to enjoy every moment of my cheese making process. Washing my milk machine was the worst part, and now that you write about the noise, I realize I don't miss it one bit. Thanks for sharing your perspective!! Keep being authentically you, that certainly is more than enough.
