Mission

I wish to share my experiences documenting the worlds cheesemaking, dairying, and pastoral traditions. Exploring the intersection between traditional and modern, from nomadic herders to innovative cheesemakers on the forefront of artisan cheese. I travel on a shoe string budget, volunteering for groups, families, and companies, learning about how they live by working side by side with them. I immerse myself in the lives of people involved in raising dairy animals, and fermenting milk, shoot photo and video, and write about what I see.

I like to help others learn about natural cheesemaking methods and intend for this to be a space for discussion and sharing. A collaborative exchange of ideas about easy to implement practices as we reclaim our abilities to safely ferment milk.
